Apple’s Ipod Touch is an amazing, intuitive, interactive device but prices are certainly not bargain basement. Currently they start at around £200 when purchased from the manufacturers, Apple. All may not be lost though as cheap Ipod touches can be had for less than the manufacturers recommended price. One possibility is to look out for a second hand device. Craigslist, eBay are the best known websites where cheap Ipod Touches can be purchased. There are even specialized websites that deal solely in used Ipods or related products. A couple of things to consider when buying a second hand device are remaining battery life as the battery cannot be changed by the user as well as available features as their is a difference between older and newer models.

Another issue with cheap Ipod Touches, is the guarantee, as in will there be one? There are some resellers who are in a position to offer a good one as they also deal in new Apple products. Obviously this will not be the case when buying from an individual and it is up to the buyer to assess whether any guarantee offered is likely to be honoured.
