Since it isn’t a phone it doesn’t use phone numbers for face time, instead the ipod 4th generation uses email addresses to connect via face time. You can use any available Wi-Fi network with the ipod to make use of the face time feature. The images are great during face time and so is the sound. Face time with the ipod is excellent for video conferencing. All this from a relatively cheap media player.

Not only can you watch video, listen to audio and communicate with friends via face time, you can also play games with the ipod 4th generation. The ipod comes with Game Center, which allows you and your friends the ability to play a wide variety of games. You can play games in real-time with friends, or even strangers if they have an iphone of ipod with the Game Center application installed.

The iPod fourth generation truly has some impressive features and is well worth the money.
